Where My Story Meets Yours

My name is Emily Walsall, and I’m the owner and case manager of Settled Affairs. I started this business after helping my grandmother navigate these same responsibilities when my grandfather passed away. What seemed like a straightforward to-do list quickly turned into hours of calls, confusion over what accounts existed, and the constant frustration of proving who she was, who he was, and why we were calling.

That experience showed me how little support exists for this kind of work—and how necessary it is. I realized there was a compassionate gap between grief support and legal or estate services. Settled Affairs exists to fill that space with dignity and professionalism.
